What is Wordkeep?
A free language course and a personal lexicon at wordkeep.me. Lessons run from A1 to C2 in German, Italian, Portuguese, French, Spanish, Catalan, English and Latin. You look a word up, keep it, and review it with spaced repetition — on your device.
Where is Wordkeep?
At wordkeep.me. Open it in your browser: free A1–C2 courses in eight languages, a personal lexicon, and spaced review. Nothing you keep is sent to a server to train a model.
Do I need an account?
No. Your lexicon and progress stay in this browser. A sync code or an account only shares them with your other devices, and an account is end-to-end encrypted.
How do I hear a word or a phrase?
Use Listen beside it. The seven modern course languages use a Piper voice that downloads once from Wordkeep and speaks on this device. Slow stretches what you hear. Latin and any other language use your device’s own voice.
