English B2: City or countryside?

Where is life better: in the city or in the countryside? Write a text comparing the two.

Whether to live in the city or in the countryside is a question many people ask themselves, especially when they start a family. The main argument for city life is choice. Cinemas, theatres, restaurants and shops are within walking distance, and you do not need a car. There are also more jobs and better access to doctors and hospitals. The countryside, on the other hand, offers peace and quiet, clean air and plenty of nature. Rents are much lower, so many people can afford a house with a garden. Neighbours also know each other, which gives many people a sense of security. While young people usually prefer the city, families are often drawn to the countryside. Personally, I would like to live in a small town with a good train connection to a big city. That way I would have the calm of the countryside as well as the advantages of the city.
