English B1: A special experience

Write about an experience you will never forget.

Five years ago I travelled abroad on my own for the first time. I was nineteen and I wanted to spend a month in Ireland. On the first evening I left my backpack on the bus, and my passport and my money were in it. I was really scared and I didn’t know what to do. An older woman who was standing next to me at the bus stop helped me. She phoned the bus company, and two hours later I had my backpack back. After that she even invited me to dinner. Since then I have known that you are never alone, even in difficult situations, and I always try to help tourists who are lost.
