For plans, ir a + infinitive: Voy a viajar. The future adds -é, -ás, -á, -emos, -éis, -án to the whole infinitive: hablaré, comerás, vivirá. Irregular stems: tener → tendr-, salir → saldr-, poder → podr-, hacer → har-, decir → dir-, querer → querr-. The future also guesses about now: Estará en casa (he must be at home).

• ¿Qué haces este fin de semana? — What are you doing this weekend?
• Voy a ver a mi tía. — I’m going to see my aunt.
• Te llamaré más tarde. — I’ll call you later.
• Quizás vaya yo también. — Maybe I’ll go too.
