In Portugal the reflexive pronoun usually follows the verb with a hyphen: levanto-me, deitas-te, veste-se. It moves before the verb after não, after question words and after some adverbs: Não me levanto cedo. A que horas te deitas? Times take às: às sete, but à uma.

• Levanto-me cedo todos os dias. — I get up early every day.
• A que horas tomas o pequeno-almoço? — What time do you have breakfast?
• Normalmente deito-me tarde. — I usually go to bed late.
• Não me lembro. — I don’t remember.
